Nehru Children's Museum

a Project of National Cultural Association

National Cultural Association was founded by Late Jugal Srimal in 1945. The objective of the association was to impart education to children through entertainment with audio visual aids and to make people conscious to fight out superstition and social ills. Inspired by these objectives, a group of enterprising young men with strong convictions in their philosophy of life and ideology, plunged into action to form a society and National Cultural Association was born. The association with itsdedication and performance since 1945, has touched the hearts of millions of children all over the country.

The dream came true in 1972 with the inauguration of Nehru Children's Museum. The dynamic leadership of its Founder Director Jugal Srimal rendered the Museum into a center of multi faceted activities like Jawahar Sishu Bhavan, Vocational Training Centre etc.

Dignitaries and distinguished Personalities from both India and abroad have been inspiring us by visiting our projects and participating in our activities.

All the activities of the Association are governed by a Managing Council consisting members from different walk of life.

To support our welfare activities for the needy section of the community, we seek your cooperation by joining as Corporate Member and be our partner. The Museum gratefully acknowledges the blessing; love and cooperation of the People of Calcutta, Trusts, Organizations and all concerned, and looks forward to building up a brighter tomorrow.
